eBay New Scam, nickel and dime seller

ebayscamNot like listing fee and final value fee not enough, eBay is now displaying sponsored Links on your page that you paid listing fee for.   Now think about this for a moment and tell me if it’s fair or not.

You have a Michael Jackson CD collection you want to sell on eBay, it will cost you $1.50 to $3.50 to list the item not including final value fee you have to pay plus PayPal fee.  After you list your item, on your page you will notice eBay’s showing Sponsored Link of competitor selling the same item you selling.

Now, if your competitor item price or shipping fee lower than yours, customer who visited your page may left from your page to your competitor and make that purchase.  So, it seems you wasting your time creating and paying listing fee just for eBay to put Sponsored links on them.

I got a Macpro Laptop a few days ago to sell for $1,800, I checked out eBay just to see who much the final value fee would be, about $255.   I list the Macpro  on blackpage, Oodle and Craigslist and within a week it was sold and I save myself $255 plus listing fee I would have to pay eBay if I did list on they site.

Full time now for eBay to stop charging listing fee and stop nickel and dime sellers who powering Ebay.  If every seller should take down them listing for a week eBay would be an empty website with no product.

Below is what a eBay seller had to say about the new Sponsored Link:

I just sold a pair of PEACOCK FEATHER EARRINGS from FEATHERLADY STORE, after going to my page, I noticed something new right on the top of my page called
SPONSORED LINKS, there were someone else selling Peacock Earrings and Feather craft and companys selling feathers. of course at a very discount price. since I have a store I sell lots of Feather Earrings , why in heavens name would I want my customers to buy Feather Earrings from someone else and to get information on where to by feathers to make there own. I am paying for a store and fee’s for everything I list. I resent this, I am not paying ebay to advertise someone else’s product on my auctions.Anyone else have a problem with this,? and can I stop it from appearing on my listings.

See what other eBayer are saying on the video below:

Its been long time since i listed my stuff on ebay, these days are usually use other websites like Craigslist or Oodle and its been great for me than listing on ebay. I agree with you that eBay should stop charging listing fee and stop nickel and dime sellers who are using Ebay, i think in a long run if they continue doing this it won’t do them any favours.
