A few weeks ago I was on Amazon flirting around their marketplace looking to start selling a few things again; because I was living a cave I didn’t notice Amazon established their own checkout system.

Check by Amazon is a shopping cart and payment system identical to Pay-pal less the popularity.  I did sign up for check out by Amazon and I notice it’s very straight forward and streamline application.  Everything is self-explanatory, even a caveman could used it.

After I open the account I didn’t do much with it since I didn’t move forward with my business with Amazon,  but today I received a email from a  Amazon representative letting me know that Check out by Amazon can be implement into a Yahoo store.   

The email I received below:

Hello –

My name is Mike and I am part of the Amazon Payments team. I see that you registered for Checkout by Amazon for your website, www.realbigbuy.com.  Congratulations on your successful registration!

I noticed that your website is using Yahoo Stores and for all merchants using Yahoo Stores we are referring them to a trusted partner for integration help with Checkout by Amazon.

I strongly encourage you to contact Bill Tait directly, whose information is below, and he will be able to help integrate Checkout by Amazon into your Yahoo Store site.

So, its looks like you can use an Amazon shopping cart within your Yahoo store. One of the good things with this is that you don’t need a merchant account to collect payment anymore if you are using a Check out by Amazon.
