You are probably aware of Amazon Associate program. In what’s generally called an affiliate program, web site owners can direct buyers to Amazon site in exchange for a revenue share from 5 to 15% of completed orders on most item.    There are thousand of companies online that will pay a reasonable fee to anyone who drives traffic to their website which result in a sale or lead.  The two main companies that provides the link between you’re business and these affiliate programs are Linkshare and Commission Junction, also know as CJ. 

If you are new to the online advertising business and a little suspicious or skeptical  of this kind of business practice, I can contest that these type of programs do work because I have done affiliate business in the pass and sustain a little income from it.  Do your research and  due diligence before getting involve.
